Thomas and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on April 23rd, 1848 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).1   They had two biological sons and three biological daughters, named William, James, Ann, Betty and Betty.  They also had an adopted son named Henry.  There are no more children.
