Florence's father was Henry Wrigley and her mother was Florence Oxton. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Elizabeth Mary Hope. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Bernard, John, Eliza, Margaret and Maureen.
