Edith (Edie) Wright

Edith, known as Edie, was born on January 25th, 1913 in Chorlton-cum-Hardy.¹

Edie's father was Archibald (Archie) Pickin Wright and her mother was Edith (Eda) Mercer. Her maternal grandparents were John Robert Mercer and Emily Anne Herring. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Albert, John, Janet, May and Hilda. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 71 on August 1st, 1984 in Levenshulme.²
