William Wolfendale

William was born in 1907 in Little Bolton.¹

William's father was Thomas Henry Wolfendale and his mother was Martha Mather. His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Martha Jordan. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Jack, Laura, Annie, Doris and Olive. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
