John was born on February 18th, 1821 in Hawarden and his baptism took place there on April 1st, 1821.1  John's father was Samuel Williams and his mother was Jane Jones.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Charles, Job, William, Eliza and Mary.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 1 in March 1822 in Flintshire.  He was buried on March 10th, 1822 in Holywell.1 1
