William Whittaker

William was born in September 1863 in Manchester.¹

Birth Notes

William's father was James Whitaker and his mother was Sarah Ann Taylor. His paternal grandparents were William Whitaker and Sarah Mather. He had four sisters named Annie, Harriet, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the five children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named James, Walter, Charles, Frank, John, Harold and Lucy.
