Zilpha (Zilphe) Whitaker

Zilpha, known as Zilphe, was born in 1809 in Ossett and her christening took place there on July 14th, 1809.¹²

Zilphe's father was Mark Whitaker and her mother was Mary Megson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Mark, Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Rachel, Emma, Susanna and Mary. She died at the age of 71 in March 1880 in Keighley.³
