Susanna was born about 1821 and her christening took place on March 27th, 1821 in Ossett.1  Susanna's father was Mark Whitaker and her mother was Mary Megson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Mark, Abraham, Isaac, Joseph, Rachel, Zilphe, Emma and Mary.
