Martha Whitaker

Martha was born in 1833 in Hulme (near Manchester) and her baptism took place on December 23rd, 1832 in Manchester.¹²

Birth Notes

Martha's father was William Whitaker and her mother was Sarah Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Boardman. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ellen and Emma. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
