Rachel Waddington

Rachel was born on November 26th, 1813 in Wilsden (Bradford) and her baptism took place there on February 28th, 1814.^1 2

Rachel's father was Miles Waddington and her mother was Martha (Matty) Pickles.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Walsh. She had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph, Betsy, Martha, Mary, Hannah, Sarah and Maria.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 65 in March 1879 in Bradford.³
