Ellen, known as Ellenor, was born in 1815 in Liverpool and her christening took place on June 18th, 1815 at St. Peter (Liverpool).1  Ellenor's father was Richard Timmis and her mother was Ellen Lewis.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Timmis and Mary Hall. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Josiah, Richard, Catherine, Mary, Ann and Jane.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.

    • Ellen married Edward Barron, the son of John and Jane Barron.  They were living at Field Street.  The Catholic marriage was at St Francis Xavier (Francisci Xavarii), and recorded at West Derby, Liverpool.
‌Ellenor and Edward were married in a civil ceremony on September 22nd, 1852 in Liverpool by P Baron and witnessed by Michael ROberts & Andrew O'?.3  They had a son and a daughter, named John and Maria.
