Emma Thornley

Emma was born in December 1870 in Bolton.

Emma's father was Robert Thornley and her mother was Elizabeth Welsby. Her maternal grandparents were Walter Welsby and Maria Bolton. She had five sisters named Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Ada and Maggie. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 3 in 1873 in Bolton.¹
