Betty Stones

Betty was born in 1815 in Farnworth and her baptism took place on October 8th, 1815 at St. Saviour (Ringley).¹

Betty's father was Simon Stones and her mother was Mary Hardman.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Stones and Ann Mather. She had a brother and five sisters, named William, Ann, Mary, Alice, Sarah and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 81 in December 1896 in Bolton.²
