Alice Stones

Alice was born in 1820 in Farnworth and her baptism took place on May 12th, 1820 at St. Saviour (Ringley).¹

Alice's father was Simon Stones and her mother was Mary Hardman.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Stones and Ann Mather. She had a brother and five sisters, named William, Ann, Betty, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 62 on June 1st, 1882 in Farnworth.  She was buried on June 5th, 1882 in Farnworth.²
