Sarah Jane Stocks

Sarah was born on December 14th, 1863 in Taylor Hill and her baptism took place on November 24th, 1878 in Newsome.¹

Sarah's father was George Stocks and her mother was Hannah Craven. Her paternal grandparents were David Stocks and Margaret Goldthorp. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Craven, George, Margaret, Margaret, Elizabeth and Martha. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 29 in September 1893 in Huddersfield.²
