Frederick (Fred) Stocks

Frederick, known as Fred, was born in December 1859 in Taylor Hill.¹

Birth Notes

Fred's father was Thomas Stocks and his mother was Hannah Batty. His paternal grandparents were David Stocks and Margaret Goldthorp. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Rhodes, David, Sarah, Mary and Hannah. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
