Jessie was born on March 19th, 1883. Jessie's father was Peter Shaw and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Metcalfe. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Jack, Warren, Eliza, Polly, Annie, Emma, Elsie, Winnie and Gertie. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 67 in January 1951 in Atherton. She was buried on January 30th, 1951 at St. John the Baptist (Atherton).1 Death Notes
