In 1820, Thomas married Betty Atherton at t Peter's Bolton
In 1841, Thomas and Betty (49 & 45) were at Woodhouses, Failsworth, (nr Newton Heath, Manchester)
In 1861, Thomas (born Adlington) and Betty (72 & 65) were at Newton Heath with Alice, Thomas and Henry (40, 30, 20)
In 1871, Jonathan (79) continued farming 33 acres at Bobs Lane, Adlington with his brother Thomas (82, Widow). Jane Blackledge (59, niece) was their servant.
Thomas died at Newton (possibly the workhouse) in 1872, aged 84.
