Jenny Riding

Jenny was born on July 8th, 1794 in Adlington and her baptism took place on August 3rd, 1794 in Blackrod.¹

Jenny's father was Thomas Riding and her mother was Jane Walsh. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Hugh, Thomas, Jonathan, Sarah, Peggy, Catherine and Ellen. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at 7 months old in February 1795 in Addingham. She was buried on February 13th, 1795 in Rivington.
