Phillip Edgar Rider 
Phillip was born in 1908 in Liverpool.1 Phillip's father was Frederick Arthur Rider and his mother was Leah Lawrence. His maternal grandparents were Philip Hughes Lawrence and Mary Bennett. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, George, Robert, Florence, Lilian and Dorothy. He was the youngest of the seven children.-
