Lilian was born in December 1894 in Everton and her baptism took place on December 23rd, 1894 at St. Mary, Walton.¹²

Birth Notes

Lilian's father was Frederick Arthur Rider and her mother was Leah Lawrence. Her maternal grandparents were Philip Hughes Lawrence and Mary Bennett. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, George, Robert, Phillip, Florence and Dorothy. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
