Priscilla's father was Joseph Ramsden and her mother was Martha Haslam.  Her maternal grandparents were William Haslam and Ann Roscoe. She had seven brothers named John, James, Thomas, William, Joseph, Samuel and John.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight known children.
