in 1841, Joseph and Martha (40 & 38) were at Riding Gate, Harwood, Tonge with Haulgh.
Martha and Joseph were married in a religious ceremony on February 5th, 1826 at St. Peter's (Bolton).2 They had seven sons and a daughter, named John, James, Thomas, William, Joseph, Samuel, John and Priscilla. There are possibly more children.
