John Postans

John was born in June 1840 in Little Hereford.¹

- 10 months old on 1841 census

John's father was John Postans and his mother was Martha Reynolds. His paternal grandparents were John Leetward and Honor (Honoria) Postans. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Henry, Mary, Anne and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.

- John was working as a servant for Hanry and Ann Griffiths and family in 1861 in Tenbury.
