  Knighton is about 20 miles west of Ludlow, so seems strange he was born here, and then worked as a Farm Labourer around Tunbury, south east of Ludlow.  It is more likely he was born in Knighton Upon Teme, Worcester, which is also where he married Martha in 1834.

  John may have died between 1851 and 1861.  After 1851, all the children split up, and went into service, boarding or married.  It's not clear what happened to John.  If he stayed in Worcestershire, then the only death before 1861 is in Kidderminster (6c,137), but this isnt him.
  An IGI record has his death as 1887 which also confirms his birth in Knighton Upon Tern.
