Robert was born in 1806 in Malpas and his baptism took place there on January 23rd, 1807.1  Robert's father was Richard Mullock and his mother was Jane Richards.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Anne Phythian. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, George, Thomas, James, Mary and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 3 in July 1809 in Malpas.  He was buried on July 16th, 1809 in Shocklach.2
