Rachel's father was Edward Millington and her mother was Hannah (Ann) Dunn.  Her paternal grandparents were John Millington and Ann Shaw. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Mary, Ann, Jane and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Edward.  She died at the age of 46 in September 1891 in Cheshire.
