Edward was born in September 1917 in Prestwich.¹

Birth Notes

Edward's father was Nathan Shaw Miller and his mother was Florence Tilston. His paternal grandparents were James Bradley Miller and Emma (Emly) Aspinall Bolton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Herbert, Elsie and Dora. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George, Muriel, Emily and Vera. He died in 1917.
