Dora was born in September 1919 in Prestwich.¹

Birth Notes

Dora's father was Nathan Shaw Miller and her mother was Florence Tilston. Her paternal grandparents were James Bradley Miller and Emma (Emly) Aspinall Bolton. She had two brothers and a sister, named Herbert, Edward and Elsie. She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George, Muriel, Emily and Vera. She died at the age of 17 in 1936.
