William Mather

William was born in 1879 in Farnworth.¹

William's father was Hugh Berry Mather and his mother was Margaret Langan. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Hannah (Ann) Wolfendale. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Mary and Sarah. He was the youngest of the four children.
