William Mather

William's father was Samuel Mather and his mother was Betsey Green.  His paternal grandparents were Matthias Mather and Mary Priestley. He had five brothers and a sister, named Matthias, Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, Charles and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
