Thomas Mather

Thomas' father was John Mather and his mother was Joanna Hilton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Richard, William, Alice, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children.

General Notes
- Thomas a cordwainer and his brother John a weaver were both married at Prestwich the same week. Thomas's father John was also a cordwainer.
  
  On the 14th April 1751, Thomas Mather, cordwainer, married Elizabeth Robinson at St Mary the Virgin, Prestwich.
