Susannah Mather

Susannah was born on March 12th, 1829 in Edgworth and her baptism took place on March 16th, 1829 at Edgworth Independent.¹²

Susannah's father was Edward Mather and her mother was Ann Brambley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Alice Entwistle. She had three brothers and three sisters, named James, George, Charles, Alice, Susannah and Nancy. She had an adopted sister named Mally. She died after 1911.

- Susannah Mather of Edgworth, spinner, had a son Joseph baptised 9 April 1854 at Turton. She would have been about 25. This Susanah lived with her parents into her fourties., unmarried, although seems to have had two children, Joseph and Margaret Ann (born 1857).
  
  In 1911 Susannah Mather (83) "Mother" and "Single" is living with her son Joseph (57) and extended family at Edgworth.
