Sally was born on June 24th, 1802 in Redvales and her baptism took place on July 25th, 1802.¹

Birth Notes

Sally's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Barlow. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Ingram. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Hardy, James, John, William, Rachel, Ellen and Martha. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
