Robert Mather

Robert was born in 1824 in Manchester and his baptism took place on December 26th, 1824 at Manchester Cathedral.¹²

Robert's father was John Frederick Mather and his mother was Ann Bennett. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Sarah. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, Charles, Matilda, Ann and Isabella. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert, John, Henry, Sarah and Alice. He died before 1837.

- Robert was not with his parents at Hulme in 1841. He must have died as another Robert was born (and died) in 1840.
