Myrtle was born on December 4th, 1906. Myrtle's father was John William Mather and her mother was Mary Ellen Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Cowley Mather and Elizabeth Cooper. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Clarence, Lawrence, Richard, Jennie, Jessie, Edith and Dorothy. She died at the age of 86 on July 19th, 1993.
