23 Jan 1868 Thomas Hickson of New Bury son of James married Mariam (i.e. Mary) Mather of Derby Street, daughter of James Mather at St Peter & St Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bolton. Witnesses were William and Ann Mather from Derby Street (Mary's brother and sister-in-law)
Mary and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on January 23rd, 1868 at St. Peter & Paul RC Church (Bolton).2
