Margaret, wife of James Mather died 4th Feb 1860. James died 27 Oct 1865. They are buried under the same headstone.

Margaret and Jacobi were married in a religious ceremony on August 18th, 1828 in Wigan by Curate Edward Hide and witnessed by Samuel Hitch & Samuel Ligard.4 They had five sons and three daughters, named William, James, Joseph, John, Thomas, Jane, Mary and Martha. There are no more children.
