11 Feb 1844, Mary, daughter of Richard Mather, Weaver, married John Lee, son of Henry Lee, both spinners. The couple were living in and married at Bury.
In 1851, John and Mary (30 & 32) were at 28 Bengall Square with John, Nanny and Ellen (6, 4 & 1). Betsy (3) was staying at her grandparents.
In 1861, John and Mary Lee (40 & 42) were at 21 Haigh Street, Little Bolton with John (16), Nancy (15), Ellen (11), Sarah (9), James (7) and Mary Ann (5)
In 1871, Mary Lee, 54, a factory operative from Little Bolton was an inmate in Salford Prison.
