Margaret was born about 1726 in Turton. Margaret's father was Peter Mather and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Cranshaw. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margaret Greenhalgh. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, John, Abraham, Richard, Peter, Alice, Ann and Katherin. Margaret and Alice were twins. She died in March 1727 in Turton. She was buried on March 10th, 1727 at St. Peter's (Bolton).Death Notes
