In 1816, Joseph Mather, batcheler and carpenter of Manchester married Ann Livesley. Stephen Sheldon and Fr Robinson (possibly his sister) were witness.
In 1841, Joseph Mather (51) was a Journeyman Joiner with (assumed) sons Thomas (19) and George (11) at Wilburn Street, Regent Road, Salford
Joseph and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on September 12th, 1816 in Manchester.4 They had four sons and four daughters, named Thomas, George, Joseph, George, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and Anne. There are possibly more children.
