Joseph Mather

Joseph was born in 1790 in Salford.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 51 in 1841 at Regent Road, Salford

Joseph's father was Abraham Mather and his mother was Hannah Dale. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Susanna (Susan) Smith. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Richard, Sarah, Frances and Martha. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 65 in October 1855 in Manchester. His burial was on October 31st, 1855 in Manchester.²³

Death Notes
- Between 1854 and 1857, when wife Ann's headstone was removed, Joseph was recorded as from "Birkenhead". However the only Birkenhead death is in 1863 for an infant.
