John Mather

John was born about 1758.  John's father was Abraham Mather and his mother was Alice Gerrard. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Matthew, John, Margaret, Peggy, Betty and Betty.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died in October 1760 in WestLeigh.  He was buried on October 21st, 1760 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).¹
