General Notes

Born 1774, Betty is probably the only surviving child of Abraham Mather.  She was born a few months before her father died, so an orphan.  Her mother Alice may have remarried (TBC).

After her father's death, Betty and her mother alice may have returned to Eccles where Betty Mather married John Hulme in 1798.  Both 23 23y old.
