John Mather

John was born in April 1791 in Warrington and his baptism took place on April 3rd, 1791 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

John's father was William Mather and his mother was Sarah Kilshaw. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Thomas, William, John, Mary, Ann and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Peter, Peter, Mary and Eliza.  He died at the age of 3 in November 1794 in Warrington.  He was buried on November 14th, 1794 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
