In 1790, William was from Great Sankey when married Sarah at Prescot. There is only one Warrington or Prescot baptism and that is for William son of Ralph a potter and Ann of Prescot. However, that William also became a potter and married Mary Denton in 1788 at Prescot.

General Notes
This is not the William from the Clay Potter family. William was a cabinet maker when maried to Sarah, and also when he later married Elizabeth. There was also a Willam and Sarah couple from Warrington who had Elizabeth in 1801. This other William was a mariner.

Wife Sarah died in June 1806 and William quickley maried Elizabeth Percival in November from Grappenhall, Warrington.
