Birth Notes

Jesse's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Hannah (Betsy) Kay. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Tyldesley. She had six brothers and six sisters, named William, Samuel, Thomas, Thomas, Herbert, Ernest, Amelia, Martha, Annie, Matilda, Lizzie and Lawraett. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.
