Martha Tyldesley

Martha was born in 1797 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on August 6th, 1797 at Peel Chapel.¹²

Martha's father was Samuel Tildsey and her mother was Martha Mort. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James, Samuel, John, Ann, Judith, Alice, Elizabeth, Maria and Charlotte. She was the sixth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 62 in December 1859 in Little Hulton.³

Death Notes
- A Martha, wife of William Mather of Little Bolton was buried 27 May 1819, aged 23. Did William remarry another Martha or is this another?
