Maria Tildsey

Maria was born in 1799 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on July 14th, 1799 at Peel Chapel.¹

Maria's father was Samuel Tildsey and her mother was Martha Mort. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James, Samuel, John, Ann, Judith, Alice, Elizabeth, Martha and Charlotte. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children.
