James Mather

James was born on June 14th, 1836 in Radcliffe and his baptism took place on July 8th, 1836 at St. Mary (Radcliffe) conducted by Charles Nicholson.¹

James' father was Miles Mather and his mother was Mary Hugganson. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Melling. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, John, Mary, Mary and Isabella. He died as an infant at 7 months old on February 6th, 1837 in Radcliffe. His burial was on February 9th, 1837 at St. Mary (Radcliffe).¹¹
