Harry was born in August 1889 in Blackburn and his baptism took place there on August 6th, 1889.¹²

Birth Notes

Harry's father was John Mather and his mother was Margaret Salisbury. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Ralph, John, Albert, Robert, Mary, Margaret and Rosella. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at 2 months old in October 1889 in Blackburn.³
